Greetings,
   A big THANKS to our crew of volunteers who came out early last Monday morning to put flags on the tombstones of Veterans at Oak Hill Cemetery. On hand was Commander Fred Pierce, 1^st Vice Pete Ruiz, Finance Officer Dennis Powel, SONs Commander Jake Gordon, SONs 1^st Vice Commander Scott Teeters, SONs 2^nd Vice Bob Simmons, Bartenders Kyla Dawn, Tina, Post 25 patron Pam, and “Gunny” the German Shepherd.

Gunny was our fill-in Sergeant-at-Arms and provided security. Good job, Gunny!

As you know, Post 25 hosts monthly Car Shows: Highlands County Corvettes on the first Saturday of the month and Lake Country Cruisers Hot Rods and Classic Cars on the second Saturday of the month. There’s an impressive car culture at Post 25.

For Veterans Day, Hemmings Motor News posted a fun article titled, “Honoring Heroes: The Best Vintage Military Vehicles and Classic Cars Representing Veterans Day”, highlighting five classic military vehicles. To check out these beautifully restored military vehicles, CLICK HERE.
